The Resolution Revolution
Bam! So this is happening. It's really happening. I don't know if it's the New Year's Resolution thing, my impending midlife crisis, the toxic mix of sugar and guilt that is the holidays, or the fact that I have been binge-watching Californication all week because there's Showtime at the home of the Pitt Bull I am dog-sitting for (That's right. Rescue animals can afford better cable than me.), but I have started a blog. I am going to write everyday. Everyday folks. Or at least I intend to beat out the woman at last night's NYE party who resolved to be nicer. However at precisely 12:59a.m. she was gleefully participating with me in poking fun at my friend who recently donated a kidney. "Hey look, there' s easier ways to diet pal."
Boy I can suck 'em right into the dark side. Or at least I hope I can. I hope to see you all back each and everyday where I will explore questions like "How the hell do you throw out a trash can? You ever buy a new one and wonder how the hell to get the garbage man to take the old one? Do you leave a note? What?" or "Why do people get 'Likes' on Facebook posts about being sick or their parents dying? Who the hell is in your circle of friends that would celebrate something like that?" or maybe I'll just share my favorite recipes. But at any rate, there will be a post here every day. Every day...or at least until I figure out how to use Twitter...or what the hell Pinterest even is. Promise.
Happy New Year!
